Yes, the airlines let you fly until you are about 8 months pregnant and at that point, won't allow you to fly without a permission note from your doctor. Eight weeks is fine, it won't harm you, or your baby.

It's fine. Some people say you should avoid long haul in the first trimester, but there is no concern with short haul.
I did a 26 hour flight when I was 4 weeks pregnant and two 12 hour flights when I was 27 weeks pregnant and I'm having a great pregnancy!!

there is not any reason you are able to't fly early in being pregnant on a commercial flight. confirm it fairly is not a intense altitude flight without a compressed cabin (non-commercial, very small airplane flights) through fact the oxygen stages could be decrease and ought to effect the quantity of oxygen attending to the baby. you do no longer ought to problem approximately flying till very previous due in the being pregnant (final 6 weeks), no longer through fact of secure practices, yet through flair of going into exertions at that factor the two on a airplane or removed from domicile. Many airlines wont help you fly after 4 weeks previous to the due date and additionally you will possibly be able to require a doctor's word pointing out your due date. If the flight is over 3 hours long, verify you arise and stretch your legs, stroll around each hour or so. Drink a lot of water.

It's safe to fly in your first 2 trimesters. Just be sure to drink plenty of water. Also, I flew when I was 3 months pregnant and the flight was delayed and then there was a detour and they had run out of food and I was starving so just make sure you take food with you just in case.Congratulations on your pregnancy and enjoy your trip.

Generally speaking, flying is absolutely safe until 3rd trimester. Most airlines won't let you fly once you are in the third trimester, but you should have no problems up until then. Have a nice trip!

yes it is. your baby will be (at this early in your pregnancy) about the size of a peanut. he or she is surrounded by water and it is like being surrounded by an oversized cushion. when i was pregnant my midwife told me tha the dangers are when the babies size has progressed eg: 25 wks or more seeing as the baby will be larger and have less room to move . hope i have been helpful. congratulations on your pregnancy and i hope your life is filled with as much joy as my daughter has brought to me.

Ask your Dr...8 weeks is fine...its in your last trimester that flying could send you into premature labour.
