It depends on what you mean by "hard". Hard as in no room left, or hard as in a contraction. As your baby gets bigger there will be less room for the him/her to move. It is kinda like filling a gym ball with air. The more air you put in, the harder it gets. Might be anywhere from 5 - 8 months, depending on size of the baby.
Contractions will also cause your stomach to tighten and become hard. It feels as though you could bounce a quarter off of it.

It just depends on how big your stomach is to begin with. For someone who has a flat stomach, it will be a very short time. For someone who is overweight it could be 7 months.

im 19 weeks and the top of my stomach is getting hard but the bottom is still soft. It depends on your body type!

Mine didn't get really hard until the third trimester (6 months or so). Before that it was just a little bump that felt like my regular belly, only more protruded.

One should really ask the question.. Should i be reproducing when I haven't got the knowledge to complete a sentence correctly? Should I be pregnant before I know enough to be able to research the simple questions about maternity on my own?

I'm at 24 weeks and it's still pretty soft...there is some tightness but nothing too much, which started at about 20 weeks.

Actually i am 14 weeks pregnant and the top half of my tummy is hard, but the bottom half isnt... good luck
