First, I am a Suns Fan. Nash is good but he didn't deserve 2 MVPs in a row, not mention the possibility of 3. He's good but not great.
Look. The whole thing about the Suns losing straight games after Nash sat out with an injury is overrated. The reason they lost was because of Nash but only because Nash was their starting point guard and he runs their offense and the Suns did not have time to adjust. I'm sure if the Suns knew Nash was going to be out for let say half season, they would have made the necessary adjustments with Barbosa and still be a dominating team. Barbosa, Bell, Marion, Diaw and Stoudemire is still a fast and intimidating team. I'm sure Barbosa would be starting for a lot of teams if he wasn't with the Suns. I mean a lot of teams would lose games in a row if their starting PG, the man who runs the offense, was out. But teams adjust to it eventually (and if they were good enough in the beginning they would continue to win). I mean does this mean Baron Davis should be considered for MVP too? His team's offense is up in smoke without him.
Nash is a good pg and does deserve 1 MVP and to be a mulitple allstar (maybe even starting), but he shouldn't have received 2 and not to mention 3 giving him the same ranks as Larry Bird and Magic. He's no where close the all-around game those players had. That simply does not make any sense.

The reason that the Suns lose when Nash is out is because Barbosa does not play like a PG. He is more interested in scoring than assists, and makes bad decisions as a PG. He is the reason they lose, it is not because of Nash. Quite simply, Nash is good because of the way Pheonix's offense is set up. He is not deserving of 2 straight MVPs, he did deserve the first one, but there are other players that are more deserving of the MVP than Nash this year. If the Suns had even Brevin Knight(7.1 apg) they would play just as good when Nash was out as when he was present. D-wade is the most deserving of the MVP this year, he is 3rd in ppg, 4th in steals, and 7th in assists. He is the best overall player in the league right now. Dirk is a great player on the best team in the league right now. However, the Mavs have a lot of good players, so the attention is drawn away from him which allows him to play better. If he was the only good player on his team, he would not play as good as he does now.

I would vote for either Nash or Nowitski as the MVP. Depending on whose team gets the #1 seed in the west. No question though, Nash is an amazing player.

i dont think they care that nash makes the suns that much better even though anybody with eyes and a hint of basketball knowledge can see that. i think those haters are all jealous that they dont have him on their favorite team and because he is a 2-time MVP who is in the running for it again this year. i'll admit that im not a big nash fan, but im not a hater either. i'll give nash his props. =)

I would love someone to try and prove he isn't the BEST player in the league. By far. It seems that no matter who he has around him, they have their career years. Jalen Rose said it best, that guys average 20 pts without ever dribbling the ball by playing with Nash. He's the toughest player to defend. Even tho cats are talking bout Dirk, Nash is by far, again, the MVP.

i'm by potential of no potential a Suns fan and that i've got neither any love nor hate for Nash. i think of he's a out of the easy participant, his stats this season are not the main mind-blowing he's positioned up, however the reality keeps to be, he's between the main effective factor guards in the league. on a similar time as he's in simple terms getting 17.4 pts in line with game, he's maximum well known the league with 11.8 assts in line with game. additionally, he's earning his 17.4 pts on fifty one% FG, ninety% ft, and 40 six% 3pt taking pictures, those are frightening stats. no you are able to nevertheless incredibly tournament his court docket resourceful and prescient (shop in line with hazard Jason Kidd), and he has the journey that youthful guards like Chris Paul lack. My in simple terms pork with Nash, the only reason i does no longer call him THE leading shelter of the league, is using the fact he will no longer be able to play protection (averaging in simple terms 0.7 steals in line with game in assessment to different gamers i discussed, Kidd, averaging a million.5, and Paul, averaging the league intense 2.6), yet that's what makes the Suns this manner of sturdy in great condition for him.

He cannot be over rated -- he's won the MVP two years in a row, and is having the best year of his career this year, so he should win again! And if he wins it both this year and next year, he would be the only player to win 4 in a row!

You could say that without Nash their Offense is stagnant. No ball movement whatsoever.
