so i just informed today that someone i work with has TB and im freaking out! im waiting to hear back from my doctors office....anyone with knowledge on this???? i heard its harmful to pregnant women????

TB is harmful to everyone...but I'm guessing that the person at work has INACTIVE TB meaning they can't pass it on to you.
They will most likely test you with a skin test, which is just fine during pregnancy.

Definitely stay away. My doctor didn't want me in nursing homes for the risk of being infected with TB. If this person is someone you are often in contact with, it might be tricky to handle. You'll definitely need more info from your doctor on what to do next.
