As human beings we are always going to sin even when we try not to, because we are weak and sinful in nature. God does know when we are trying to be better and we are trying not to sin, he loves us for continuing to try and be better.
I'm in no position to judge any one as to their being worthy or not, that is for God to decide and not us.
So I think that if you repent and sin but you continue to try not to sin the Lord knows this and still has love for us.

I think true repentance means not continuing to sin. Don't know about the Hell part of it. I don't really believe that.
