I'm looking for some instrumental movie scores that has a deep bass like percussion instrument. I'm not sure what the instrument is called.

Really deep bass? The deepest bass I remember was Godzilla. There are alot of thrillers/horror movies with really deep bass but Godzilla had the deepest I remember.

Some movie soundtracks that have some nice bass in them are:
Lord of the Rings: Black Rider, Knife in the Dark, Bridge of Kazad dum
Gladiator: Might of Rome, Barbarian Horde, Am I Not Merciful
King Arthur: Most of the score is bass save a few cues.

I am not sure what type of instruments they are but i know the Patriot has deeb bass in some of the movie scores and so did the movie "The Rock"
