Does anyone know which library City of Angels was filmed in?

Does anyone know what is the name of the library where the angels "live" or do you at least know in which city it is located?

I think it was in San Francisco. I love that movie. I always get choked up when they are all standing on the beach at sunrise. And usually I cry during most of the movie. But its one of my alltime favorites!!!

No I don't (I don't even live in USA) but this movie is one of my favourites! :)
