I have real short nails b/c I bite them. Should I go get fake nails? What kind should I get?

Acrylic are the most popular. Warning though; they are very hard to get off and require a lot of maintenance. You will need to go about every two weeks for a fill in to keep them looking good. If you don't mind going to get your nails done every other week then go for it. They will look beautiful nd a lot of the time once your wearing them for a long enough time you get out of the habit of biting them and you are able to let your natural nails grow.

Well in my opinion there are pros and cons to getting fake nails. When I was in high school I used to get them put on for special occasions such as the prom, but that became so addictive that I had to have them all of the time. They do look good yes, but if you ever take them off, they leave your original nails looking awful. I had I guess what you call "scarring" on mine when I finally got them taken off. It took them over 6 months to grow back to where they looked nice. I went to one of the top nail salons in my city too. They are also high maintenance and cost a good bit to be kept up. However, if you are going to get them. I recommend the gel kind. They look more natural and feel better. To me the cheaper kind, has a far more greater tendency to break. Best of luck to ya! :)

It is not recommended to get artificial nails if your nails are damaged. Let your nails grow out a bit then think about it. I am sure some places will put them on for you in any condition, just to get your money, but your health is more important.

sure if u want but they destroy your nails but they look soo cute. u could go to a nail salon that is close 2 u. or u could go 2 walmart they work 2. u should go 2 walmart first though cuz u don't want 2 spend a lot and not lik them.

Oh my gosh! yes you should get fake nails yes i bite my nails to and i have to wear fake nails trust me it looks very pretty cuz i wera them to so yes! GET THEM!
