People asked this question many times, just search for the question.

Everyone thinks the Great White Shark will win, but the crocodile are smarter, faster, doesn't get tire that fast in the water, and stronger then you think.

Probably because the shark looks bigger, but crocs are much, much, more aggressive and crocodiles are also big. Great white sharks weigh more, but crocs make up with power!

I was watching National Geographic, where they were catching Great White Sharks, they had one that was the biggest they ever tried to captured- at least 17 feet and over 2200 pounds, 3 men were pulling it in the water, the shark got tired after 15-20 minutes. Then they got more people, like about 9-10 people to pull it in. All the great white sharks they captured were not aggressive.

The saltwater crocodile is much more aggressive and it takes a lot of people to pull and restrain because they are very mean.

This is what a scientist said- http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/oct...

http://en.allexperts.com/q/wild-animals-... - he said I think that the outcome of the fight depends on the habitat and the species concerned. Most crocodiles live in freshwater, while most sharks live in seas and oceans, although there are some freshwater sharks, while some crocodiles can live in seawater. I think the crocodile would aim for a fin or the nose of a shark, while keeping its limbs against its body. The shark and crocodile are both armoured, but I think that the shark's skin is more vulnerable than the crocodile's. I think that an aggressive crocodile would probably beat a shark of the same size, but I hope that this fight will not occur.

In Animal Planet they had a fake show on who will win a croc or a shark. The crocodile was much smaller than the shark, which was wrong. The crocodile ripped the shark's nose and fin off and they both sunk to the bottom and the crocodile needed air and then the shark bit the croc's belly! The shark was in pain and extremely hurt and 2 seconds later he flew up and bit the croc! It was only computer graphics.

A saltwater crocodile could killed a equal size bull shark, tiger shark, and it could kill a great white shark. A bull shark will put up a better fight because of its aggression.

The saltwater crocodile are very fit and much more aggressive then a great white sharks.

A 16 foot saltwater crocodile will weigh about 700-1000 kilograms. I have talk to crocodile scientist from Australia who have weighed wild 16 foot crocodiles, which are about 1700-2200 pounds and the people who said a 16 foot saltie weigh only 1000 pounds are wrong! They have the strongest bite force of any animal in the animal kingdom and in the water don't get tired fast!

They swim 15-18 miles underwater.

Crocodiles are also real agile in the water and very fast. The shark is more agile and have shaper teeth.

Saltwater crocodile (Salties) kill 2200 pound water buffalo and can kill a person in one good chomp! They have been know to eat and kill tigers, large wild boars, humans, sharks, horses, etc...

Great white sharks are not as aggressive and will have problems biting through the crocodiles bony plates and under the bony plates are thick, rough skin, which are much tougher than a female great white sharks! The average fully grown male saltwater crocodile is 15.4 to 16.6 ft. A 16 foot great white shark will weigh 2500 to 2700 pounds, it might weigh more than the croc but the crocodile makes up for it with power!

On animal-face off ( t.v show )the great white shark won, because they like it better. I think the crocodile was 16 feet and 2000 pounds. And the great white 21 feet and 7500 pounds, which the shark should weigh around 5000-6000 pounds.

Crocodiles are stronger with pulling things, it takes more than 10 fully grown people to pull and restrain a 14-16 foot saltwater crocodile.

THE SALTWATER CROCODILE WILL WIN! 7/10 times the croc will win if the great white shark is 14-15 feet and the saltwater crocodile 15-16 feet. The same length the crocodile will win 7-8 /10. The shark might win if the crocodile drowns underwater.

I HAVE CONTACT SCIENTISTS FOR THIS MATTER AND THE SCIENTISTS PICK THE SALTWATER CROCODILE.

If they fought to the death- the croc.

But most likely they would not kill each other, ending in a stalemate. They will both hurt each other, but the crocodile will probably do the most damage and be more aggressive.

The Discovery channel had a show on that subject once. It seems that in open water, the shark would win, but if the crocodile is able to pull the shark towards shallow water or the shore, the crocodile wins. In their show's simulation, the shark won at the cost of its tail fin and therefore its life. However, they fought in open water in the simulation.

The crocodile would eventually run out of air so it would drown :-). But if we disregard that part it is hard to say. Shark's skin is harmful because it has tiny spikes (in one direction) but the croc has tough skin and the shark could have trouble biting the crocodile. I can't really say, but I'm voting for the crocodile (if it can't drown).

nicely salt water were conventional to eat small sharks, yet to pass up adverse to an excellent white shark, it relies upon on whose higher. If there an similar length, it ought to pass both way. Being an air breather, the salt water is at a draw back. at the same time as it is going up for air, it places it susceptible underbelly in probability. yet when the crocodile manages to bite the shark's tail, it would have the benefit. Oh by the way both crocodile and shark have very protective pores and skin.

I'm thinking it depends where each would get bitten.
