I have heard this many times and have often wondered why.

it's what they mostly see on t.v....but it is somewhat true...I am Afro-caribbean...and African American women are mean and loud..but they dont imtimidate me....all u really have to do is ignore them and they will feel stupid and leave u alone...
the problem with men is that they dont want to back down esp. to a women...so they try to bicker and argue...that will never work with an African Amercian women...they will get louder and start to insult u..that's when the men go running away with their tails stuck between their legs..that's why African American women have a bad rep..b/c MOST men cant handle them.

i'm of blended races, one in all that's black, yet am mild skinned so I in simple terms look Latin. If i'm strolling with a black guy in the mall, I see different black women observing me like I should not be with him, yet black women are recommend to one yet another, too. no longer all black women are like this, however the few who're, are loud adequate to entice interest and supply lasting effect on people who witness their acts. There are loud and obnoxious human beings in each race, yet i think of that media portrayal of African American women makes them as an entire, look extra intimidating to those that've little or no journey with black human beings.

I don't know why. I'm a pretty nice person. In general, some stereotypes are that we are always bossy and mean. The only people that believe that are people who have never really met a black woman. But thier wrong.

because black women are a handful. I hate to lump you all together like that, but you sort of already did that with your question. Black women are much more demanding. I say that having been raised by a black women, and have dating many many sisters. I love ya'll, but you do give men a hard time. more so than thew few non-black women I have delt with.
