Usually there are so many good empty seats put to waste-- I feel like it's ok and fun to sneak up to a better seat... But we're not very good at it; we tend to always get caught.

Got any good tips? Share your experience. Thanks!

never go to the empty seats from your seats, people can see you and it's obvious those aren't your seats

Instead go up to the concesion or bathroom area and then come back down and walk right to the seats down below another plus is in a different section then you were just in so noisy people who were sitting by you don't rat you out

Stay out of the season ticket holder section is one piece of advice not mentioned, they are use to seeing the same people game after game so a new face rings alarms, always wait until the 1st quarter is over before making your move and make sure they are empty seats, that someone isnt just at the bathroom, or getting food. When you get to the seats show no fear or nervousness if someone walks by or talks to you, act like you own the seats.

Wait until most everybody has already arrived. Keep your eyes on the vacant seats for a while first to make sure the people aren't just in the restroom or at the concession stand. Wander over like you know where you are going, and sit down. If somebody comes up with tickets, then say "oops, sorry" and walk away. Then try another area.

Wear clothes that blend in with the seats. Preferrably a material that refracts light. If this is not possible, try rolling a few smoke grenades down the aisles before slipping stealthily to your new location. If all else fails, cut the stadium power and grapple down to the desired seats while the security team scrambles about to restore power.

Remember, with hard work and preparation, you too can have super cool ninja skillz!

rule number one, don't get impatient. never before the first quarter is over. then go and get some food. lots of it so your hands are full. if anybody asks to see your tickets theyll see that your hands are full and theyll let you go. then you just sit down. if nessesary, give the person next to you a hi five to act like you know them. its all about looking comfortable. i do this all the time and it never fails.
