Based on record I would have to say the 98 Bulls but I would love to see who would win between the 1988 Lakers and the 1998 Bulls. Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman vs Magic, Worthy, and Kareem. It would've been very entertaining to watch.

The 1985-86 Celtics, no question about it.
Greatest starting frontline in history ( Bird, McHale, Parish ), the greatest backup center in history (Bill Walton ), & two excellent guards ( DJ & Ainge ).
They could play any type of game and beat you. Their second team would make the playoffs today!
The only team since that might give them a run would be the following year ( 1986-87) Lakers. And an injured Celtic team took them to six games in the finals.
The Pistons would be no competition. And none of the 90's Bulls teams would even come close to beating this team.

2003 Spurs. David Robinson and Tim Duncan were dominant! Plus the emergence of Ginobli and Tony Parker. Maybe not as talented as the 98 Bulls, but a better team I think and won with class.
