Can anyone help me out to find which hostage crisis this was? A young woman who is held hostage - possibly with another woman I don't quite remember - is transported by the hostage-takers and at one point interviewed by tv through the window of the car she is in. She was a very pretty girl and she seemed scared but hopeful of a good ending. A day or so later she was shot and killed.

The interview footage is quite famous and it's been going round my head but I cannot remember the whole story.

I don't recall that specific detail. I recall the Munich Games hostage situation; the Iran hostage situations; Patty Hearst, but that particular scenario doesn't ring a bell, but then the 70s were the decade of the hostage situations. Good luck. Report back to us if you find out.

It could not have been Patty Hearst because she's still alive. Sorry, I'm as stumped as you are. Will keep thinking about it cause I was in my 20's then & should remember.
