I mean, we seem to be able to designate Black History month. Also, since there is a Miss Black America pageant, when is the Miss White America pageant? Is there also an NAAWP, since there is an NAACP?

I'm not being racist here, but I think that designating those organizations and events specifically for blacs without designating corresponding ones for whites IS racist.

You hit the nail on the head. Dispite emancipation, constitutional amendments, civil rights and supreme court decisions, Blacks find it in their favor to promote separatism.

It's ridiculous that it's very unlikely that there is anyone alive today that even has a living relative, that knew a living relative that was a slave. Yes, slavery was wrong, but it's ancient history. it's funny that blacks in Britain, the country that ran the slave trade, do not cry about slavery any more, while American Blacks do every chance they get.

It's sad to think that the children of blacks who have been in say New York, for 3 generations or more, still talk like they just came off the peanut farm. Why is this when the children of recent Asian immigrants try to speak properly, when their ancestral languages do not have some of the sounds in English, but people that were born into homes where English was spoken cannot?

Why do many blacks insist on dressing and wearing jewelry to stick out like a sore thumb? While you might expect this from kids, it's sad when you see a mature man with more jewelry than Mr. T and a hat on sideways over a extra large doo rag.

Many believe that blacks do all this separatist stuff to remain separate, instead of the "Equal American" they all claim to want. They are already equal under the law and equal opportunity. Blacks have found a lot of privilege in being 'different' and don't want to give it and it's entitlements up by assimilating in to america, just as all other ethnic groups that have been here as long have.

A quote from an older gentleman I know sums it up well. "I like Black People just fine... it's the N***ers I hate"! (there is a difference)

Think about it.

I think the short answer to this question is every other month but February is White History month. All the history that I learned in school was about white men "discovering" America, exploring the world and conquering other people. The NAACP was created because people with no voice can gather together and become a presence. Caucasions are the dominant culture in America. There is no denying this fact. Whether it's about Irish, Italians, English, Welsh, Germans, French, Russians, Latvians, Hungarians--all white. And yet America is also a melting pot.
History is written by the conquerers and the dominant culture.
Now the longer and more interesting answer to your question is, yes it is racist to lump everyone of a certain skin color--even those people from many different lands--into one category. America is a crazy quilt of many different cultures. We should have Latvian history month and follow that up with a Nigerian history month. But I don't agree about the NAACP, because if you look at your congress you still see 90% white men. NAACP is a voice for representation of a large minority that is still grossly under-represented.

You are wasting time on here you have things to do you can start by picking out the month for white history and getting some like minded people to help you out and, then you will have all the white organizations and pageants that you want

I think those type of activities breed racism and resentment. There may have been a place for them many years ago but now it simply reeks of racism. It's these types of pageants and funds which fuels the separation of races and spurs discrimination onto the next generation. Political correctness separates the United States in specific polar groups. Today we need to unite citizens under one banner which is that of Americans. We need to identify ourselves first and foremost as American who may just happen to be black or white.

I think it's March. Saint Patrick's Day is 17th. (kidding)

The main purpose of Black History Month is to celebrate the survival of the slave decedents. It's a way to educated the public of the origins of Blacks in the Americas. It also celebrates human rights equality & democracy for all races.

The first Whites who came to Americas raped the lands off natural resources, enslaved the locals and massacred the natives. It's a shameful past that I don't think Whites would want to celebrate.

That's why there's no White History Month.

All Americans should be proud of BHM. Some of the most important people who help ended slavery were Whites. The historic struggle pave the way for all.

Since history is generally written by the people in power, and thus focuses on the story of those in power, then I would say that every month but February is already White History Month. If not, then why is 90% of the history section of bookstores devoted to Europe and the white American experience, and why does 95% of the history we're taught in schools only take place once whites come on the scene? I remember having a "world history" book in elementary school, in which the "world" only included places that white people lived or had "discovered."

WE don't need any of that nonsence. WE aren't ignorant little backward thinking children. WE won't riot and burn down our own neighborhoods.
These differences are put into action
#1, By a GOV that is far too PC.
#2 So Politicians can say "see what we did for you".
# 3 Try to keep a people enslaved and dependent on the Gov, without them even realizing it.

do you realize how stupid your question is? you need to study the history of America and not from the white point of view like it is in schools. white people are the ones who started racism since they brought black people from Africa to be slaves. and when slavery became illegal, there was Jim Crow laws. come on man stop your b.s. every month except Feb. is white history. the majority of the Miss America contestants are white and a overwhelming majority of the winners are white. you need to understand that whites are the majority in this country and it's not being racist to have groups for minorities. wow, you need to stop bitchin acting like black history month hurts you. you are stupid!
