Britney Spears: Cry for help OR jealousy for media attention?

Question

Did anyone else notice that this whole Britney saga started after Anna Nicole started to steal her media attention. The media was wasting time talking about Britney and her walking around showing off that she had no panties on. Now, the media is focusing on Anna Nicole, and Britney starts her CRAZY behavior:

1.) High on drugs-checks into rehab
2.) Coming down off drugs-leaves rehab less then 24 hrs. later.
3.) High on drugs-shaves head, & gets tatoos.
4.) Coming down off drugs-decides to cover head with wig.
5.) High on drugs-checks into rehab AGAIN.
6.) Coming down off drugs-check out of rehab AGAIN-less then 24 hours later.


GET A GRIP, AND BE A MOTHER TO YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN FOR GOD'S SAKE.

Its hard to evaluate the psyche of a kid that was raised to be her Mother's tool for fame and fortune. Anyone who didn't wonder what the heck a parent was doing endorsing her pubescent daughter being sold as a precocious teen with a taste for punishment oriented sex hasn't been paying attention.

Britney is the result of way too much of everything that isn't important and not enough of what is. She doesn't have a clue why or what she's doing and most importantly shouldn't be in a parenting role of any sort these days.

There is a whole group of these Paris/Lindsey/Britney/Tara brainless products of poor parenting and corporate interests that are heading to a few cold awakenings and hard lessons if they're lucky.

If they aren't they'll end up like all the kids who've gotten lots of money, fame and attention from people that feed off them until everythings gone and they're left broken and sometimes dead.

Oh and the Media isn't wasting time. The Media thrives on watching trainwrecks like this. The Media feeds like pigs at a trough when beautiful celebrated megastars with the maturity level of a spoiled 10 year old start self destructing. Of course if people would stop buying the mags, rags, books, videos and all the other things that profit the Media for this kind of garbage there might be some hope for these kids that are screwed up and thrown out. But that ain't gonna happen.

I'm actually more interested in why good normal decent people are so fascinated by these celebrity disaster cases in the first place. Why do they care so much about people who don't care or know anything about them? Its a mystery.

This is too funny of a question since I don't think Britney lacks any media attention! But one thing is for sure, they both loved their children but incredibly neglected them. One died and the other one is battling the will to live. I feel sorry for Britney, since she realized too late how cruel the entertainment world is. It's not about singing, money, and fame. It's about questions of the sort being given about a human being that is just lost....we are so cruel, it's sad.

I don't know if anyone elase ahs noticed this, but it looks like all of these so called "stars" are starting to self destruct. Lindsey, Nicole, Brit, Paris, etc. Please don't tell me it's a cry for help, because of their status in our society, they have all the help at their hands, but choose not to seek it out. As far as I'm concerned, they can all go away, I have a hard enough time raising my girls and convincing them not to hold them in such high regard. These females could be doing so much more with their lives and a lot of this shows what a decent upbringing could have accomplished.

I think everyone is being way too quick to judge Britney. She has been in the limelight ever since she was a kid, which I am sure was a huge amount of pressure, she tried to have somewhat of a normal life, getting married and having kids, only to discover that her happily ever after didn't exist there either. We tend to forget that celebrities are people too, they have feelings, they hurt, they cry and sometimes they just get a little bit messed up like the rest of us. Only the rest of us do not have the whole world knowing about our every screw up and being all too happy to find fault in us.

I think she knows exactly what she doing, her fame was over a long time ago and this is her way to keep her self in the spot light. There are a lot of young famous people out there who are more famous then she is and their not acting like this. I don't feel sorry for her, I feel sorry for her children. I think she needs a reality check. come on grow up and get back to reality and resume your responsibilities to your children.

Well, that's her job. To be noticed by the public.

But then again, I don't think anyone with a decent mind would do all these just to seek such negative attention.

Either she is really going "Bonkas" or just so happen to be going through a tough phase in her life, nobody knows except herself. So no one could really judge and comment on her actions.

Britney seems to need attention, attention and MORE attention, and unfortunately she will do just about anything to get it. She seriously needs to check herself back into rehab or a psych ward and stay there. If she doesn't get some real help, I think someone will be calling 911 on her, too.

I think she is definitely behaving in a very self-destructive manner. Her whole life seems out of character for her, from the person she once was, and it just proves that you can't let your life spiral out of control like that. She isn't being true to herself and that's why she isn't happy.

At the same time, it must be difficult to know who to trust, when everyone seemingly wants a piece of you, for their own gain, and I feel sorry for her. This is what happens to young celebrities. She isn't the first whose life was really screwed up thanks to Hollywood.

The media doesn't help anything by constanting being in her face to report every sneeze she makes.

Hope she can get her head on straight and makes better choices.

She is and always will be just trailor trash. She shaved her hair so they couldn't drug test her. She is such a media pig, she makes me sick. Has she had a new song lately? Career dead. i think she needs help. but you've got to want the help. people can tell you and make you check into rehab but unless it's what you want you won't receive the message. i think that shes easily influenced by what paris & lindsay are doing. paris shows up without panties and then here come britney and lindsay doing the same thing. lindsay checks into rehab here comes britney saying i can top that. it's all very sad. her mother needs to step up and save that girl.
