Ghost..

there is a seen that is so touching ... it always makes me cry no matter how many times I see the clip... you hear the music of the Righteous Bros.."Unchained Melody" .... and thats it I need the tissues...

equally its the only film that makes me laugh every time too... because thanks to Whoopi Goldberg.. there are many very funny moments...

It also puts the message of DIVINE INTERVENTION across in a way that fills you with hope that there is a higher power..... you feel so much better about life.. and less afraid of what comes after.. provided you play by the rules of "what goes around will come around'

The Cure.
I don't see how anybody could have a dry eye when watching this. It's just something really innocent and sad at the same time about a young boy that is determined to find a cure for AIDS for his friend who has AIDS by using combinations of candy bars and boiled leaves they find in the woods. This movie is one of my favorites.

Sleepless in Seattle (really!) the bit right at the end where Tom Hanks turns up at the top of the Empire State Building,....it's closed and all hope seems to have gone... he takes Meg Ryan's hand (realising that they 'just know' they've each found the person they've been waiting for).... and leads her off to a happy ending.

"Cinema Paradiso." I first saw it when it came out 15+ years ago. My chest became itchy; I scratched, and discovered tears had seeped down through my thick beard....

When I saw the "director's cut" on my birthday in 2002, I started crying before the initial fade-in was through, thanks to the memorable music.

I hope people check out the original "King Kong"; it'll get you, too (and it's better than Peter Jackson's, imho).

Blueridge... mentioned "Soylent Green." I had the same reaction as she, 30+ years ago. Btw it was Edward G. Robinson's last picture.

Next time, ask a popular question, will ya?!

I Am Sam, is the most tearful film ever. I cried practically all the way through it at the happy times and the sad times coz you just know that it could be true. the little girls so sweet as well, just causes a lump in your throat.

Homeward Bound. 2 dogs and cat left behind when family move across country. It's the story of their heroic efforts to reach their family. Oh dear, where's the tissue.

"The King and I." For some reason, even though the whole movie is fun, when the king dies, when his hand drops, I just cry, every time!! (The ORIGINAL ONE!!) (I'm a guy.)
"The Champ" is a close second.
The last scene in "Schindler's List," when he is talking about his pin and how it could have saved three (about?) more lives. And he just breaks down; and, the movie goes into color into the present with the family members saved by him. Absolutely!
