With no affense! Why? Have you thought of that?

I myself, from Brazil, have been making, since some years ago, volunteer works here in my country. Now I'm gonna do it in Africa, Mozanbique.

It'll consist in education works (Portuguese and English) and music.

Have you done sth similar yet?

Good for you! There should be more people in the world such as yourself.

Last year I traveled to one of the poorest countries in Africa (Mali). I met a Dogon man and we fell in love. We are getting married this summer. We will start our life together in the US; however, we want to set up our education and careers so that we can go back to Mali and hopefully make a difference somehow. We just aren't sure what approach we will take.

I have always had a desire to volunteer like you and that is why I traveled to Mali. I wasn't expecting to find marriage along the way but I guess that is how I will end up helping and doing my part.

Best of luck on your journey and thank you for making a difference.

If 10% of the average $907 that Americans spent on Christmas gifts went to children in need, 42 million children could be helped for an entire year according to statistics provided to me during an interview with World Vision.

This year, I conducted an experiment, and asked for donations to World Vision and Heifer.org instead of Christmas gifts. Many folks simply chose to give me gifts anyway, but several did make donations instead, resulting in $137 going to these charities.

I also have a website where I sell art to support these two fine charitable organizations. The next time you need art for your office, church, or home walls, please consider my website. My personal favorite of my own work is Sunset over Florence12. There are two other artists/photographers who are participating on my website with donated works.

Why are you in Brazil instead of being in America helping needy children?

thats there problem why dont you keep helping your own country out, they got that way because of their bad decisions, if you do want to help fix the problem find the root of the source, most of the time it is bad government and once you leave nothing will change

If I had the money to travel and be over there, I would be there helping. I feel so bad for the children over there.*
