Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?
By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.
I found some book titles that are relevant to your specific question:
* Generation, Inc: The 100 Best Businesses for Young Entrepreneurs by Elina Furman, Leah Furman
* The Young Entrepreneur's Guide to Starting and Running a Business (Completely Revised and Updated) by Steve Mariotti
* The Young Entrepreneur's Edge: Using Your Ambition, Independence, and Youth to Launch a Successful Business (Princeton Review Series) by Jennifer Kushell
* Upstart Start-Ups!: How 34 Young Entrepreneurs Overcame Youth, Inexperience, and Lack of Money to Create Thriving Businesses by Ron Lieber
I also posted some article links in the source box.
Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!

You need to work for a hotel first. When y6ou work in the field in which you're interested, you learn from other's proven experience and you won't be reinventing the wheel all over again wasting precious time and resources. Start there show hard work and work up to a managerial position and after that you should have enough working knowledge of the business (book keeping, maintenance, supply purchase etc.) that you can consider your own business.
The other option is a formal education with hotel management with an emphesis on business being your main goals. They probably take an equal amount of time, but with working you're not paying tuition and are actually emplyed and makinf some money too. Be patient and be realistic. A luxurious hotel doesn't fall into anyone's lap without some major perseverance. If you want it bad enough, you can do it. If you want it bad enough you'll put in the necessary work. You can't build the full-view penthouse of a building without building the foundation and the other floors first.

Why not take a look at a home based business which has a support system designed to make sure you succeed. The problem with just starting a business is your lack of experience and probably training, most new businesses fail within their first 3 years.
If you care to contact me through my 360 profile I could suggest a web site which might be suitable for you to investigate.

My husband and I have a home based online business that may be right for you. I can't really give a lot of details here since it's against the rules of this site but if you're interested send me an email and I'll write back to you with more details.

First, get some formal education in either business administration of commerce and finance. The current tax and business climate in this country pretty much precludes going into any business without an understanding of what it takes to be " in compliance ". Remember, you don't run it, it runs you.

you should probably go to college first. unless you're extremely mature, i wouldn't recommend starting a business at that age. no one is going to take you seriously. atleast take some small business classes at your local community college. you need to come up with an idea first. don't go expecting to get an idea that will make you rich from yahoo answers.

i've got no longer heard of ISI the two. My advice is figuring out your strengths and your passions. as quickly as you come across them then initiate your seek searching for something that parallels your character. If that is rings then seem for rings, if it a service that supplies savings on ordinary purchases then seem for that, if well-being is significant to you or those close to to then you seem for something in that container. maximum those that are no longer effectual in abode based agencies have chosen products or amenities that they do no longer seem to be enthusiastic approximately or that it would not greater healthful their character. that is significant which you inspect numerous issues relating to agencies you align your self with. Do they take earnings of human beings? Is their a great variety of turnover in human beings with reference to the organisation? How sturdy is their help? How sturdy is their reimbursement plan? Are they ethical? What differentiates them from somebody else? Are the products or amenities as sturdy as they say they're? Do those that use the products or amenities have actual memories of the advantages? Is the services or products unique? each physique of those issues could desire to be seen. i've got been in contact with numerous distinctive agencies and have been disenchanted when I've seen the organisation for myself. i've got at present stumbled on 2 agencies that are unique, grant great products and amenities, and have great reimbursement plans. So shop looking and ask around. in case you extremely need to stumble on something you will. If i could be of furher counsel enable me know.
