Papa Purr, MISS KITTY, and Dillon the young calico were all planning to go to DODGE CIT ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. (Though where they go their names WE'LL NEVER KNOW)

Papa Purr was a bartender at the KittyKat lounge, and it seemed that being MARRIED TO THE JOB was always keeping him away from his family, so this trip was to be a chance at ROMANCE for he and MISS KITTY. They had already planned on finding a Kitty-Sitter for young Dillon.

Before they left, they warned the kitty-sitter of Dillon's fascination with the nearby swamp. "Whatever you do, keep an eye on him." they said. If he is allowed to find his way out to the water's edge, that MASHALL kill DILLON for sure!"

The two lovebirds (er, cats) left for Dodge City, and spent the evening milking and caterwauling until the break of dawn. When they returned, they were shocked to find Dillon and the Kitty-Sitter enjoying a bottle of their best half-and-half.

"Gracious Heavens!" cried Miss Kitty. "What shall we do with the two of them?" Papa Purr hung his head and said "Well, if this is anything like mine and your first date....you'd better start knitting some kitten mittens!"

The End

"Miss Kitty", cried Marshall Dillon. "How about going with me into Dodge City on a Saturday night".
"I gotta work darlin,"drawled Miss Kitty.
"You never wanna go anywhere, no mo," cried Marshall, "You're married to the job and you don't care no mo" as he walked out of the Miss Kitty's bedroom, but it was the last thing he did as he was run down and died by a passing fruit cart when he stepped in the street.
We'll never know, would we if the romance would have lasted and how Marshall would have reacted as Miss Kitty took off her dress and there was not a bloomer as hoped, but long johns.

I don't know if I made, but I tried.

Miss Kitty was owner-operator of the Long Branch Saloon, from which she dispensed wisdom, whiskey, (and though not overtly) boarding room keys and "fancy" women. Like Perry Mason and his secretary Della Street, Kitty and Dodge City's U.S. Marshal, Matt Dillon (played by James Arness) seemingly carried on a cloaked relationship. He invited Miss Kitty to Dodge City on Saturday night. She was married to her job. She couldn't leav her job.Marshal Dillon wanted romance for both of them. But now,we'll never know.
