I hear this a lot, and the only thing I can say is "So what's the point?" There is nothing wrong with an age difference if you like each other. The only issue might possibly be common interests. And possibly some stupid people who think that you should find someone the same age as you. If someone say that, just ask them how many minutes or seconds age difference sounds right to them.

I am 45 my wife is 30. We have been married for 5. We dated for a year. We have many things in common. Certainly there are some things that I have already experienced. She has not yet reached that point in her life. In that respect there are certain things in my life that I have to repeat. The difference is I will be doing them with a partner. In some cases I have been able to give her some direction with some issues. Ultimately she will make the decision that she feels most comfortable with.
I think I may be getting a little off base. My wife and I have 15 years between us. We get along very well, no problems at. She makes me feel like I'm in my 20's again. Age is just a frame of mind.....Although there have been times when people think she is my daughter.....flattering for her.

You probably won't listen to us when we tell you the only thing that a 32 year old wants from a 19 year old is what's under her clothes.

well, when i met my husband, i was 19 and he was 28. we've been happily married for almost 24 yrs.while your 13 yr age difference isn't to out there, its the ages you are now that may cause the problem. if you were say 25 and he were 39, it might work better. yes, it worked for me but i will say that it was tough at the beggining.

good for him!

seriously though, you could probably have some fun with it, but I don't know about long term success. You are at very different points in your lives, and thus it will be difficult to have anything in common with him, aside from trivialities. Besides, I don't think you should tie yourself down so young...

The question is "what in the world do you see in him?" Obviously he cannot handle a real woman.
