I also get extremley painful stomach pains and the doctor has said they think I have Endometrosis (something to do with the lining of the womb) They have said this is probaly causing me to have depression but they wont give me any help apart from tablets and I really dont want to get stuck on those! Any ideas at why I feel like this and any help you know of??

Hi Kirsty,
I really admire you for thinking about the consequences of tablets. Although if you are really struggling, please consider how they will affect you before eliminating them altogether. I would also say you have very high anxiety. Your pre-occupation with fear of death might be linked to a past event. For example, when my cat died I used to get (and still do get) extremely anxious over the behaviour of my other cats. Im always panicking that theyre gonna get hurt. Im not sure if youve heard of Bach's rescue remedy? You can buy it in holland and barrats and places like that. I find that helpful when Im feeling really anxious.
Anyway, hope you get through this. x

I used to be like that, worrying about everything & having panic attacks etc. You could try councilling as often Doctors don't think of the psychological issues, they just give you pills to mask the symptoms. Most health problems have emotional roots, you need to get to the bottom of why you are feeling like this, your anxiety is there for a reason. You could try some of Paul Mckenna's hypnosis CD's he has some really good ones for relaxation & wellbeing. Meditation & yoga can help quieten your mind. I hope you manage to sort your problems out.

Sounds like you have anxiety attacks pretty bad, I would go back to the doctor if I were you, a short course of tablets could help you until you get to see a councillor and it really might be worth it just to make you feel more relax for now, good luck and hope your on the mend soon.

I used to have the exact same problems... panic, chest pains, stomach aches, etc.... After multiple visits to the doctor's office I realized that the best remedy was to quit going there because it stressed me out even more. Every time they told me something new I would worry about it constantly. Try to find a hobby that's fulfilling and constructive to take your mind off negative thoughts. Make sure you can separate your work life from your home life... that was a big help for me.

I agree with the doctor's, you sound like you have an anxiety disorder and depression. It can be very serious and I can sympathize completely with you. I have been in your situation. Get counseling and take the meds the doctor's prescribe, you will feel better and can eventually stop taking the meds. Good Luck

Clinical anxiety is very often a chemical imbalance. Medication is very often the key to fixing those chemicals. But if you do not want to take meds, then consider something like yoga or meditation. Maybe you can train yourself in that way to be calm. You may also consider eliminating things like caffeine and sugar from your diet. Both can cause anxiety.

You could see a good food nutritionist who will give good advice on the effects certain food has on the body They look into the eye which can tell a lot about our health. Sounds like you suffer from anxiety. Give it a try and good luck.
