He don't have a problem if he entering Malaysia before the passport expired.
He will have a problem to enter Singapore if he doesn't renew the passport. Immigration officer of both country won't let him pass the boarder.
He should renew renew the passport when he return to Malaysia. It take only 1 hour (depends to the immigration office) to get a new passport. Maximum is 1 day.
The cost would be about rm300. I don't think it would be too much comparing the fortune the he made in Singapore.

Tenerife is a chunk of Spain, and so component of the ecu. ecu international places haven't any correct to require the electorate of distinct ecu international places to reward something except a at present-valid passport or nationwide identity card - all that concerns is that the passport is valid on the time that you're in Spain. As for renewing your passport, from the dates think ofyou've got given you would possibly want to no longer do this before the hollow of August 2010 - in case you renew your passport interior the perfect 9 months of its' validity the the relax era might want to be further to the ten years validity of your new passport, yet if you happen to renew previous you'll now no longer get more desirable than 9 months further to the ten years so that you will be throwing money away.
