I recently bought a new motherboard for my pc. It has a built in audio and a driver that comes along with it. The problem is that i cant get sound to come out of the speakers. Before i installed the driver, this message popped up "new hardware found, high speed audio device in audio bus". Then after i closed the balloon, this message popped "There is a problem in hardware installation, your audio device may not wok properly".

Could this message be a caused by me not installing the driver yet or could it be that the hardware is really busted?

Either way, the sound still does not work after driver installation.

Hi. Try uninstalling the audio device from Control Panel. Reboot and see if the message comes up again. Check your volume control settings and see if the on-board audio shows up as a supported device.
