to anyone,you ask someone for directions,and you still end up getting lost.

Yes - we got lost in the middle of Suffolk at 10: 00 p.m. at night, and ended up back where we had come from. They guys in the pub must have had a good laugh on us.

Yes. It seems that people are embarrassed to admit that they don't know about the area they live in. So they give some vague general directions. It is surprising how often you are actually sent in the opposite direction to the one you want.
Sat Nav is pretty good if you can afford it(not the cheapo versions)

Yes, people always give me really complicated directions and if they're not too sure of the way themselves you can find yourself even more lost than you were in the beginning! Now I have Sat Nav!

oh yes very often,
its always good to ask another person you find were the last person directed you. That way you get close to were you want to get.

yeah usually because the person isnt very good at giving directions or missed a particular detail.
