The trade is... I trade Billy Wagner and I get Chris Young.
Now I need SPs really bad, all I have is Anibal Sanchez, C.C. Sabathia and Erik Bedard. And I have a ton of RPs which are, Billy Wagner, Bobby Jenks, J.J Putz, Fransico Rodriquez and Mariano Riveria. So, as you can see I need this trade I just don't know if I could get anything better than Chris Young for Billy Wagner.

Im going to go ahead and disagree with most of you here, and say this is a pretty bad trade. Wagner is a top 3-4 closer, and Chris Young is solid but not a top tier starter. You should have tried to get a higher tier pitcher from a team that was struggling to get saves (usually they will sell really high). If you can get out of this deal, I would, and if you haven't already decline or cancel it.

I'd try to get more for Wagner but its not a bad trade at all. I just think you could possibly get more if you have that many rps someone has to be short a save man. Assuming your playing in at least a 12 team league.

Chris Young is a great pitcher- you're virtually stealing him for that lump Wagner. Great whip- some K's and once he get familiar with Petco I'm sure his splits will improve. Lots of upside for Young- Wagner has no upside, just the downside of losing his job.

Its a fair trade but for Wagner you can get a better pitcher. Wagner will get a lot of save opertunities this year because the Mets staff is hurting.

Do it! You have too much RP and not nearly enough SP unless your leauge lets to start 4 RP. You can get rid of Putz too, 3 RP are enough to have tose you have are good.

dont do it dudee ! just wait 2 weeks into the season and see which underated starting pitcher emarges but ill def tell you to pick up john maine from the mets...he could get u some wins with the offense the mets have.

its a good trade because chris young will have a low era and high strikeouts especially playing at Petco Park.

That is definately a fair trade, but you might be able to get someone better if you try.

that trade was a ripoff, you could have gotten a much better player than Young. i would have gotten a Brad Penny. that is a fair trade.

If you NEED a SP, then go ahead. If you can make it withouth one get someone better.
