Hi,
I am planning to get pregnant. My last period was on Jan 21. I quit smoking and stop my pills since Dec. I use the pregnancy kit every week but seems to be negative. I almost give up!! but these days i felt breathless a lot and my tummy dont feel good! My period is still not here yet. When do u think i show get the pregnancy kit?

Usually, most pregnancy kits these dates will allow you to test after your 1st day of your missed period. However, if you are trying to conceive, you can purchase a kit that will tell you when you are ovulating and when it is a good time. Also, you have to take into consideration of how long you were on the pill. Some people are able to conceive immediately and some it takes longer. Also, will this be your first pregnancy? Also, don't put alot of stress on yourself on trying to conceive. It only complicates the situation. You can also contact your gyno for input and advise if you are not pregnant within the next 6 months. Good luck and happy conception.

You could be pregnant or it could just be your body adjusting to getting off the pill. They say on average wait until 3 months after taking the pill or when your cycles is back to normal. I would take a test if it is negative. I would wait a couple of weeks and then if no period I would go to the doctor. Also not all pregnant women get a positive on their home test. I think it might just be your body adjusting. Also don't give up or get frustrated yet it takes an average couple a year to get pregnant. Great job for quitting smoking!!!!! Good Luck!!!

Get one now, but if it is still negative. Wait two weeks and try again. If still negative, you might just get a period.

You should be about due for another period now. So you might have been testing too soon. Wait a few more days, then test with first morning urine.

i would get one now....if your just late with your period dont give up it takes a while....give it atleast 12months before seeking medical help. GOOD LCUK!
