Remember the people are all humans and its normal to be nervous. My best tip is to be yourself, make eye contact smile and nod when they are speaking to you. Or visulise everyone in their underwear. And try not to laugh.
Good luck hope you get the job. :)

Even if you haven't worked for a while, everyone who goes for an interview builds up fear about it. So there for starters is something to think about - you are just like every other person so it's a level playing field'
The first question I have to ask you is this; are you going for just any job or is it something that you know about?
The proper way a job interview to run is not for them to keeping asking you questions (this is known as the YES/NO quiz).
You are there to SELL yourself to them. That is to say tell them why you are the man for the job they have. Always tell the truth - lies always come back to haunt you.
Don't let the way they phrase questions put you off, ie Tell me why we should employ you? Why do you think you should be selected in preference to other candidates? What can you bring to bring to us (experience)?.
Obvious things are you know who you, your age, your abilities. Who did you last work for? Why did you leave? (tip-never criticise a previous employer!)
So you get things straight, sit down in a quiet room at home and write down things you think you are quite good at. These should make you realise that you are OK. Stand in front of a mirror and looking at yourself read them out with confidence. This action will filter through to your subconscious mind and prepare you for your opportunity ahead. Repeat the action a few times.
Now, don't forget to look smart at the Interview. Smartness also improves self confidence.
When you are actually at the interview do this; look in a friendly way into their eyes (this is important and is called eye contact)
Good Luck. and Remember if you are unsuccessful it has trained you up in readiness for your next interview.

Just imagine that you're talking to a group of friends and make sure you have gone over the talk a couple of times infront of a mirror so you know what you are looking like to the others.
If you're very nervous, get hold of some rescue remedy and start taking that a few days before the interview which will help to keep you calm.
Good luck

Be incredibly prepared, practise what you are going to say loads so that you are comfortable with it. Also, learn as much as you can about the company and sector you are moving into. The more prepared you feel, the more you will have confidence over the nerves.
But you need some nerves as they create adrenalin which helps you stay focused. So embrace them a bit, don't let them rule you, just take a few deep breaths and remind yourself that they wanted to see you so you obviously have something they want.
I'm sure you'll do great. Good luck!

Develop confidence. Practice. Ask a friend (or 2) to 'interview' you. Then ask a friend to ask a friend that you do not know to interview you.
Businesses hire people to solve problems. Know the problem that company has that you can solve then demonstrate and tell how your skills can solve that problem.
Good Luck
