Yes, if you didn't clear the history. You should also lock your computer with a password when you are not using it. (Control-Alt-Delete). Hit all keys at the same time, and you will then see the option of loggin off, locking the computer, changing the password, etc. Choose change password first, as he may have your password. Then, choose lock computer. This should keep him out. He has no right to be on your computer period!
I hate nosey people.

Yep he can, if you go onto google and search for something, the next time you search for something starting with the same thing it automatically fills it in for you.

Oh yeah, he sure can... unless you clean up your tracks after you've used your comp!
I suggest you download a program called CleanUp which will erase all your web surfing history, temporary files, index.dat files, most recently used programs, and so on. You can download it from here: http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/

It seems like a paranoid place you're working in. You're spying on your colleague and he's checking your computer behind your back.
Delete everything regularly on your computer to cover your tracks.
