LOL I think we've all been where you are. Get through it, be the better person. You will survive believe me. Good luck.

My m.i.l. treated/treats me the same way. Husband same thing. Hang in there! If you love him its worth it. Do you have children?
If not, leave. He is a mommas boy and he will probably never stick up for you to anyone....bummer. Sorry. Dont do anything to them just pray that you can stand this as long as you have to and they will see that you are a wonderful girl and be glad that someone like you married their child. And it wouldnt hurt if they started feeling really rotten and lame for treating such a great girl like yourself so crappy. Taking the high road has great benefits. Hold your head high. Be better than them. Good luck.

My husband always says, and I agree, that living well is the best revenge. If they get to you, they're winning. The best revenge to getting them a taste of what they give you is to be sickening sweet to them, not allowing their problems to become yours and enjoying your life 10 times more than they ever will.

Otherwise, there are prank sites that have bumper stickers that are just horrible- but great because you can put them on their car where they wouldn't see them and get a good laugh out of it while they drive away.

Personally though, the first is probably a better idea :-)

Good luck.

well, you can do what I did. Just move a away. You need to put at least 600 miles between them and you. My in laws made my life hell for 16 years, but for the last 8, we have been far enough away that the whole Jerry Springer thing that they live has had very little effect on us!

I personally don't think it's worth the time or effort. I'd find something more productive to do with my time and let my husband sort out the problems with HIS parents. The best way to get under their skin, is to just smile and act like nothing they do bothers you. Good luck, honey.

I had the same issue, I think it is really crappy when the spouse, husband in this case; lets it continue....they are spineless; but since you asked and your husband won't deal with it....just take the high road and ignore them....smile and ignore them, don't let them push your buttons....

Nice idea and they probably deserve it too but if you do something you'll just end up causing problems in your marriage. And if they already don't like you then you'll just be giving them ammo to use against you.
I know it's tempting but you're gonna just have to bite your lip on this one.

Kill 'em kindness. It's a right-in-the-face prank that will drive them crazy and give you the satisfaction you're looking for.

Always be polite and civil to them, and feel proud that you are a mature person who is much better then they are. That is satisfaction in and of itself! I know where you're coming from - my in laws are weirdos too!!

You married your in-law's child and you'd better learn to get along with them. Otherwise, you'll run your marriage in the ditch!
