My best friend is a very clever girl, very hard working. Very friendly and kind. She is a very good student, but she got one of the worst parents. Her dad is selfish, well-educated old man, who went back to Africa, so he can get rid of his responsibilities as he always did, he turned her mother life to hell. He got married many times. And he had children from different wives.
He brought them to UK, then he left them struggling alone. IN less a year her mother as well left the house.

She wishes if she could have a normal family, like others. But because life is not fair, she never ever had one.

She is pretty, very clean and proud young lady, she respect her ruthless parents, but she would love to have different family, who care, who love and who would be interested in which course she is doing and how was her day!

Can you help? Do you know any elderly couple, who would love to have her? She is young, lively and promising young person. Please if you can in any way, then get in touch. This is not a joke but a humanitarian case, so please only serious people are welcome

Thanks all,
Angel

She's 19 so she's an adult - why are you looking for someone to 'take her'? From what you've said, she sounds like a mature and well-rounded person who could cope on her own. Why don't you help her get a job (if she hasn't already got one) and a place to live. If her own family has let her down then it's unlikely that strangers will be any better - she should show them that she can go it alone and make something of herself. She'll find someone to be with and have her own family one day and then she can be the parent that she wanted her own parents to be.

That's a sad story,my heart goes out to her, unfortunately you cant choose your parents but if she joined some groups in her area that shes interested in she might meet some really nice people and it would take her mind off her problems, anyway at her age she should be thinking to the future and you don't need great parents to have a great future at the end of the day were all on our own no matter how many people we have around us,hope this makes sense!

Blood is and will always be thicker than water. Unfortunately nobody can choose their family, only their friends. It is obvious she is trying to better herself and has learnt some hard lessons in life. As you are so close, it sounds as if you could stand in to be her sister. I would love to have a caring friend such as you.

Maybe she could get involved with an old age home and build bonds there.

Good luck.
