a) A Twist Drill Bit is used to create holes in metal, plastic, wood and stone. Changing its material to aluminum will cause its to become allot more unreliable and is likely to break under any pressure required to make a hole in the above materials.



b) A pen is made to specific dimensions with the users hand in mind. These dimensions ensure a comfortable and smooth writing experience. When a pen is made allot smaller or larger it will become uncomfortable and much more difficult to write with. This can cause pain to the hand and ensure untidy and eligible writing.
