I thoguht that i do not have to decide my major in community collgege until I transfer. But my friend told me that I have to decide my major before entering community college and need to take courses for that major. If i did not, it will largely affect when i transfer to four year colleges. Is that true???

Yeah, pretty much, especially if you are planning to transfer. What you probably want to do is talk to the admissions people at the college you plan to transfer to and find out which coursework will transfer for the bachelors degree. Then chose a major that will allow you to take those courses. If you transfer prior to receiving your associates then you've just taken classes which will go with you. If not then you have a degree and classes that will mostly go with you. There are sometimes 2 + 2 degrees offered where you take the first 2 years at the Community College and then finish at the University, too.
