I had a PPH after my first birth and the midwife said there is an increased chance of it recurring this time round but she didn't say how likely, like what percentage?

I had this with my 1st baby too, went on to have a further 4 of the monsters & never had it again.... I was petrified with the 5th as I was warned it was a high risk & wasn't allowed the homebirth I wanted ..... went like a breeze! Don't worry ..... what will be will be & the more relaxed you are the easier things will be! Good luck! x

I don't know what the percentage is, but my mother-in-law had that with her third child and not with the others. My sister-in-law had it with her fourth child and not the other three. I think it depends on an individual basis.
