When we see news about gangs and gang violence there is always invariably a story about innocent bystanders getting hurt or even killed. Perhaps the gangs should be trained to not be such bad shots?? and maybe as suggested by another person earlier, we could provide them with a safe (for the general public anyways) area in which to fight etc.. possibly Iraq? Afghanistan? Most assuredly a silly silly plan i admit. But as silly as it is.. it would be better than what we have in place now ...that is.. "NOTHING" .but a "gang violence" squad of police , who are powerless to do anything other than cordon off crime scenes and arrest gang members AFTER someone gets hurt or killed.

If they like guns so much, and are so very good at shooting them and they get caught in possession of a gun, then they should get three years national service in iraq. Then they can hang about in a big gang where everyone wears green khaki and shoots disrespectful bad guys. They can feel what its like to have someone shoot at them or get shot.
Its all guilt free, in fact its endorsed, they might even get a medal and will probably get to have a drive in a Hummer.

It's no wonder the younger generation are behaving violently as they will copy what is seen around them - violence, fear and anger. It's everywhere, in Iraq, in England, America - you name it. I don't think there is such a thing as a peaceful country anymore.

my personal opinion is that as long as no civilised members of society are hurt or killed,i could'nt care- less.just a few more 'gangstas' off the streets, not crowding our jails.this is the way they have chosen, whats stopping them going to college, apart from bravado and looking'cool' packing a piece.

Provide them with more guns so they can shoot each other until there are none of them left on the street.
