That's the word on the street. The Lakers don't want to give up Kobe (obviously), Luke Walton, and Andrew Bynum, but will offer up a combination of players for Kidd.

this has been a big rumor going around, but chances are it is not true. the nets want to make a change, but giving up kidd to the lakers is not their ideal choice. the lakers don't have enough to offer for kidd. they have kobe and odom, but they won't give them up. the only trade i see going between them is, luke walton and some noname for Kidd.

The chances are very slim almost none at this point the nets have demanded bynum be involved and the lakers are not willing to trade their 19 year old future star

there is a pretty good chance but I dont think they will give up Odom, Kobe, or Bynum... I dont think they should give up Walton, Evans or Farmar... they are the future along with bynum... but I would give em

S. Parker
V. Radmonivic
C. Mihm
K. Brown

i think thats more than a fair trade (at least after they all get healthy)

i heard that too there is a slight chance it will occur. If it does happen hes probably going to be traded for some young players. Kobe's chance of winning it all will be increased massively
