Because they glamorize the people who oppose us.
Notice how few of the anti-war crowd say anything critical of the people who bomb schools in Afghanistan and markets in Iraq?
The sad thing is that they only pretend to care about the Iraqi people. They are advocating that we let the people who when and used chlorine gas on civilians a couple of days ago destroy the democracy the Iraqi people voted for and make themselves dictators.
But what should we expect from people who glamorize Castro and Chavez?

For anti-Americans, the Americans are the terrorists and, yes, they call them war criminals and they blame them, the Americans, for everything.
Terrorist and freedom fighter are terms that may be applied to the same person depending who is doing the application. (the Taleban were freedom fighters when the enemy was Soviet and terrorist when the enemy is American)
The leftists, everywhere, refer to their opponents as fascist, warmongers, assassins, terrorists, anti-revolutionaries, reactionaries etc.
Its all semantics.

Whats amazing is that to these liberals only President Bush is a war criminal. So by following their lead if every president who has orchestrated a military maneuver in which lives are lost he in turn must be a war criminal too. Washington, Lincoln, FDR, JFK, Reagan, Clinton.

Never but they are war criminals since they attack and kill innocents. These leftists nitwits prefer to refer to them as "freedom fighters". Their world view is that the US has brought this upon itself. They hate America but refuse to leave and would rather help decay it from within.

Well who gave Osama weapons, money and training? Who gave Saddam money, weapons and training? The US administration of the 70 gave both of these men all their power in an effort to fight the USSR in Afghanistan and the Iranians during the Iraq Iran War, when Iran had our hostages. In fact it was Bush Sr. (while head of the CIA) the set these men up. And continued to fund them against US legislation ( Iran contra affair)! So who is the terrorist?
Don,t get me wrong. these men are bad, but they would never have been in power if the US and not been involved! We are cleaning a mess that we made!

wow, your one of those people that would like to think that you make sense but in reality here is what you are saying, that someone who is anti war, someone that thinks and or hopes and or wishes of peace instead of being at war which is what you must like or what must make you happy or it is just something that you have accepted to the point of this is the way things are so I will take it and be happy or whatever, in the end, someone who is anti war as far as you are saying is someone who thinks differently than you do, as far as the terrorists go? do I call them war criminals? no, I call them terrorists, do I blame them? sure why not, they are the ones that do what they do right? but I surely do blame people like you for perpetuating things as well, have a nice day pro war rightist anti liberal democratic republican pro choice fascist nazi nose picker

Why would we have to call them "War Criminals" when the word Terrorist suffices?
Would you prefer for Bush to be called a "Terrorist" - which he is - or a "War Criminal" which he also is?
Curious!
