I purchased it on tuesday and watched it later that night. I must say i did enjoy it. Kinda skipped through the actual storyline (even though that was the point of the film) and watch the teens die basically. I thought chrissie and her bf played the best parts. whats better than a hunky, hard *** soldier, not to mention gorgeous boyfriend around you! hehe but sad they all died but if you think thats the way it had to go seeing as it was the beginning!

just wanted to know what everyone else thought about it

we (my bf and i) bought the dvd too.. it was good. the story line was not as good as the original, the gore and torture however, was.

i thought it was so cliche how they went back to that slaughter house.. i was like come on.. in every movie every girl ends up running to this place?

i did however, i really liked the fact that, at least for me, how the torture scenes got carried out. most times in movies torture scenes get done very quickly or they get away.... in this movie it got dragged it out.. and it kept making me think they would get away... but behold they dont, lol.

defiantly worth a dvd purchase.

I will see anything Jordana Brewster is in, but I think I'm going to wait until it's on video. I didn't think that TCM, the original was all that good. I guess it was good for the time it was made, but it's not really stood the test of time. As for sequels to originals, from a purely horror standpoint, I like the first and second Nightmare on Elm Street (none thereafter) and the first and second Candyman (again the rest stunk).

I actually enjoyed it also. i do have to say that chrissie was brave going back. Once my *** found the road, i would have kept on going. I would have showed the biker the house and told him to kill em and then run like hell. BF are a dime a dozen... but if she would have done that, the movie would have been dull and over with...right??????
