Over the past week i have gotten several for no reason other than the person disagreed with my point. This is what I mean about them and censorship. It 's the exact behavior of Stalin. If you don't like what they say, shut them up. Scary mind set really; just a matter of how far you're willing to take it.

What you are experiencing i smalicious harrassment.

incidentally, can I please ask EVERYONE to complain about Violations when they are not warranted.?
A lot of people have been deleted recently after working very hard to get up to a level where they can ask and answer unlimited.

If you get violated for something that is NOT even close to being offensive, please report it with the email header "harassment by another user" and state that you do not deserve this violation. Say that it is harassment and you want the matter investigated and the REPORTERS account suspended.

I will be reporting EVERY one from now on

Lets stop the mindless yobs destroying our work

Just one point though. If you deserve the Violation - take it on the chin !

Trust me, it's not just the Christians and Reublicans who do this. I'm as far right as they come, and I'm forever getting violation e-mails for ridiculous "reasons", all because I hurt some thin-skinned jerk's feelings by not nodding and telling him I agreed with his confused assessment of things.

BTW, when it comes to who really supports free speech, I think you're looking in completely the wrong direction. When you hear about a speaker getting shouted down at a college, you can rest assured he was a conservative. Harvard ran its president out of town on a rail for having the temerity to question a PC belief. No, my friend, it's the left which says one thing and does something else where freedom of speech is concerned.

I am wondering about the connection of Christian with Republican. I am a Christian but I am a Democrat. People do not like hearing a view opposing their own. They are convinced that Bush is on a mission from God and that to go against him is to go against the Almighty. I am afraid they are horribly mislead on that one. They have the love it or leave it mindset that kept us in VietNam for so long. This war has already lasted longer than WW2. As long as I have voice and something to say, and as long as the US Constituttion gives me freedom of speech, I will continue to say what I feel. We have that right and anyone that tries to stop our right of free speech is not interested in liberty or freedom, just in control.

The Repugnant party - oops, republican - and the hypochristians are like an unbound book. They have no spine.

They're worse than spoilt children, really; if they don't get their way, they throw tantrums. And also like a spoilt child, when they scratch and kick, they claim "it's not fair" when people try to stop them, and lie that _they_ were the victims of kicking and scratching.

Its a knee jerk reaction to difference and tolerance! same as the muslims and their opinion is the only one that is acceptable.put another way, they want control and have a fear of loss of control. i.e. politically, socially, culturally? same old struggles of mankind for ages, except there are more to fuel the fires of intolerance, clerics reverends, bigots of all sources and opinions?

A lot of people take their religion very seriously, and unfortunately, they sometimes become easily offended when someone either criticizes their religion or makes jokes about it. I do kind of wonder what you said, though.

It's because they always have a perception that you are being offensive to them but cannot see how offensive they are to others. It's paranoia or a Superiority complex really.
