In my opinion it's not a psychology Q.

By "economic development" economists mean such things as growth in GDP, growth in a nation's infrastructure such as roads and schools, a rise in life expectancy (that means, how long the average person lives), better healthcare. The stuff measured by national economic statistics.

But what is "social development"??? An increase in social cohesion? A reduction in crime? Such things tend to be NEGATIVELY correlated with economic growth. Or do you mean some idea of character quality? How much love to people have in their hearts? How much do they care for others' wellbeing? How peaceful are their minds? How violent are their desires? I suggest such matters have NO relationship with economic development. They are more likely where there is "good" parenting, but the rich are neither better nor worse, in general, at parenting than the poor. It helps if there is character education in schools, but where, apart from India, is that happening generally?
Or do you simply define "social development" as creating social context and conditions that help people to feel happy? Here there are some variables positively associated with successful economic development in the West, such as less pollution and shorter working hours, and other variables negatively correlated with economic development such as more social alienation and more traffic congestion.

Hope I have got your thinking started. Rest assured there is no such thing as "the answer", that's why it can be debated:-)

Every case is a special case, hence every home has a unique family. There's not much room for generalization.

But yes it's achievable, and as long as there is a power supply, the computer keeps running.
