Actually, the British have been pulling troops for awhile. They invaded with 40,000.Sounds like they got their part of Iraq squared away.

Because people let the media set their views and values they often overlook the obvious even though it is also reported. UK is pulling troops out by the end of the year. Did you miss that the US is also doing so and that the surge of troops was part of the exit plan? It is amazing that people do not pay attention to anything but tabloid style reporting. And by that I mean that the story is reported in tabloid style such as...Blair to pull troops out, Bush's feelings are hurt, he is binge eating and may enter rehab...Blair to get makeover when troops come home. Hey, did you think the Brits were gonig to stay after we left?

Yes. The British people don't support the war any more than Americans do. I wish Bush would follow suit. I am not talking about completely withdrawing our troops, but at least let us know if there is a plan to eventually leave.

the south has been stable for a long time, Tony Blair is a great leader and true friend to America, he will do what he feels is right, and that is all we can ask of our leaders.
