I'm kitting out a dart area in my home (i.e. buying dartboard, surround/cabinet, oche mat, the arrows themselves) and want it all to match (with the exception of the darts). Should I go with Unicorn or Winmau (or other) and do I need a board clamp if fixing the board to a door? If anyone has any suggestions on the best specific board/cabinet/surround etc. that would be great too.

I would recomend the winmau (blade 3)dartboard over the unicorn (eclipse pro). the unicorn doard seems very soft and i dont believe it will last as long as the winmau. For all of the rest why get them to match just get the best available. I would not recommend fitting a dartboard to the back of a door, did that when I was younger and managed to throw a dart at my brother when he opened the door mid throw.

Personally I would always go for a Unicorn Dart board as I feel these are the best around but it is down to personal preference. Good luck. The make of darts does not matter nor does the cost, what does matter is that you feel comfortable with the weight and balance.

I would use Winmau for my boards etc & whatever dart(s) that you feel comfortable throwing with.

For your Darts, stems & flights go to www.stantondarts.co.uk. They are very very good. Quick delivery as well.
