We are a 5 piece band, who cover Arctic Monkeys, Fratellis, Killers, Kiasers, Libertines, (elivs occasionally) and anything modern apart from pop. So far its all been reherals and pubs (open mic nights), but we have gig (provisionally) booked for 13th April and we need to get serious about names. We are all into the music scene in Northampton, so any local tie-in would be good.

Got nothing Northampton related I'm afraid, but I was just thinking the other day how loads of bands call themself after objects.

I was looking around my living room for options... and came up with The Shades... quite like it!

What do you think?

Well...a roundabout anagram of Northampton is
Phantom Thorn..just an idea!

Or examples of anagrams of thirteenth of april are:

fahrenheit trip lot
fahrenheit pro tilt

Basically you could just go to www.anagramsite.com

Just type in anything and it should give you loads of inspiration :)

Hope that helps.

'Shoes & Laces'

Local connection being that Northampton used to be the home of the Shoe industry in the UK. Not sure whether this is still the case.

Still like my first suggestion of 'The Mandatories'

I've always like "The Munchkins" don't really know a lot about Northampton apart from the obvious connection with Princess Di - maybe "psycho -hose beast island"! (As she was a psycho-hose beast and was supposed to be buried on that island at Althorpe (she wasn't - she's at a church down the road!)
