I don't think of the Islanders and the playoffs together. But with the way they are playing, they could steal that 8th playoff spot.

Yes, I think both Montreal and Carolina will fall out of playoff contention and Isles will get in. The question is, will the Rangers manage to squeak into the #8 spot?
And yes, Ryan Miller should be a starting goaltender with a good contract with a contending team.

till Dubiewicz is going on a very good Conklinesque tear, i don't think of they could make it. in case you check out the way the Caps, The Panthers, even the Leafs are taking part in, each and every physique of those communities have a extra useful spot. And those communities are not even in the photograph yet, they are going to could take out Buffalo or Philly, who additionally are not keen to supply up a playoff run.

i think so..they've been playing really good as of late and the rangers blow so they're obviously not gonna have a chance at making the playoffs and the isles can beat any other team..as long as blake starts scoring again...ricky plays well, and they play like they did against the pens..then they will make the playoffs

they are right on the cusp and will have to step it up to stay in contention. they are a team that relies to much on just a couple of their star players and if they get hurt the whole team suffers.you have to have more than one or two good lines these days to make a run for the cup.i watched them play the pens the other day and at times they looked pretty good.need to tighten up on the defense and not rely so much on the goalie

Probably,
They're the currant holders of the 8th seed, but by the way the Rangers have been playing, I'd say they have a chance to become 7th

No, they only got a few good/decent players, DiPietro is pretty good, but not worth his contract. Someone like Ryan Miller deserves that kind of contract.
