it was about some little girls (13-17) being sexual exploted in new york, the sad thing is that cops DID know where to find them and they only went there because of an investigation...
are there some places like that in NY or it was just fiction? tell me it´s just fiction please...

With every L&O episode, the story usually is taken from a true to life case, but then given an extra spin in order for them to make a better 'made for TV' ending. Ive noticed quite a few stories in these shows have been about exploited/murdered children lately.
There are simply some things I cannot watch for entertainment.

There are places ALL over America and the world that do things like that with children all the time, not just New York. Children are being sold by thier parents as slaves in some parts of the world. A theory (unfounded) about what happened to Natalie Holloway is that she was kidnapped and sold as a sex slave into the far east. Its widespread and there have been documentaries and news shows about it for years. I think they do not know how to stop it and with the internet, its easier for these criminals and pedophiles to set these things up and keep it underwraps. Add that to the corruption in all levels of law and government in every part of the world, and you get a huge, widespread problem of child exploitation.

Wake up buddy, of course it's fiction, Every on that TV is show is fiction, unless at the beggining it says "based on a true story", the same with Movies.
