Or at least a fear or phobia other people think are irrational. I am terrified of driving under bridges. I have a long commute so it's very necessary, but when traffic is slow or I get stopped under there I freak. I guess it's the sound of the cars going over my head. Everyone makes fun of this. So I wanted to see if other people had a fear they might get teased about.

I have a fearful dread of barbie dolls, I know this sounds
crazy. But when I was little, my sister would pull the heads off her dolls, and put on plays on a little theater stage my dad had built for her. She would make up story's about Axe murderers, coming too chop off there heads. Using ketchup and mustard,
and left over spaghetti,she would stage a disgusting murder scene, and force me too play the role of a CSI.She would make me touch all her macabre props, and place them in specially marked plastic baggies.I'm afraid to go anywhere near the toy section, of any store I shop at. It's become so bad, that I rarely
go any where but Lowe's or Home Depot!

This is not uncommon, everyone has a vast array of one phobia or another. Realizing that its all in your mind helps you deal with the phobia. Its something triggering in your mind that brings up this kind of deep down fear but realize that its just a trigger in your brain that is doing that. Be conscious of the thought that just entered your brain when going under a bridge and you'll be able to cope with it. Confront it, dont hide away because thats what most do. Realize that something is just triggering in your mind and that you dont really have to be scared of anything because its just all in your head.

I have many of them. I'm claustrophobic and I'm terrified of one day being in a full body cast because of a car accident, so I drive like a granny.

just found out that my ex b/f has a fear of being in cars, going to fast and highways .. he wanted me to do the limit or under and i live in a area where you have to drive to go anywere on a highway. me none.

I'm afraid of insects that crawl. I get teased a lot for it, but *I* think its perfectly rational.

people breaking in at christmas and stealing the presents,so i try to hide them until christmas eve
