Do you want to build a website? If you don't want to spend thousands of dollars to have a webmaster do one for you, there are some ways that you can build a nice looking website on your own with no prior knowlege.

1) You can build a free web page at something like geocities. I never recommend this because while such pages are free they are also filled with ads. This is distracting and does not look professional. I am usually turned off by such pages.

2) You can go to a reputable company like GoDaddy, register yourself a domain name for your business and then they have something called "Website Tonight" where you can build your own website using some very easy premade templates of their own. It's kind of like fill in the blanks. Since I do my own website design using software, I've never used theirs. But I can say that they have great customer service and if you have anyquestions, someone is always available to help. There is a low montly fee for hosting (get the smallest plan which is about 4 dollars a month and website to night is also minimal).

Getting your website out there and up in the rankings when people do a search is the hardest thing. You will probably want to submit it to all the possible search engines that you can, so that when people are looking for a service like yours, it comes up. You want to be as close to the top search page as you can. You can also pay a fee to be listed in the Yahoo or Google business directories. Depending on your budget, this may be a good option for you. Best of luck to you.

And by the way, what's up the next person copying and pasting part of my reply in their answer? If you can't answer the question then don't take other peoples answers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yahoo has web hosting starting at $9 a month. They give you your own tools to build, very easy to use. They give you 2GB of space, a number of emails, FTP access, picture book, blogs, and lots more. That's what I use. www.diamondindustries.net. They also have more advanced accounts that let you take invoices and bill credit cards for more money per month.
