rescue a ladies hat?
i almost killed someone doing just that yesterday!

It depends - if the hat had carelessly put itself in danger then it wouldn't deserve rescuing. On the other hand, if the danger was no fault of its own then I would go out of my way to save it. Especially if it was still on the lady's head! Gosh, you're so chivalrous...

I wouldn't risk my life for anything as stupid as that, I have my family to think about and I don't put' Anything,' in front of them. !! xx
