There isn't a simple answer to that question unfortunately. One thing I would say though is DON'T buy from eBAY! Every guitar that you pick up will feel different. Body shape and neck i.e Rosewood or Maple make a difference so you need to go into a shop and try some out. Good luck

depends on what brand you buy
the cheapest one is around 100 or less
the better ones are a little more than a 100 maybe 150 to 200
the best brand to buy are fender and gibson which can be from 200 or up. (I do recommend these two brand because they are great quality and last a long time.)
