I went over 10 years ago. I am glad I made the effort as it is a fascinating insight into the man behind the peanut butter sandwiches. You really get a sense of why he sang that song 'In the Ghetto'. The surrounding area of Graceland seems very poverty stricken and its amazing to find the mansion in the middle of what is more or less a ghetto.
The tour of the mansion includes his vast TV room and a look at his costumes, automobiles, bikes and other memorabilia.
A definite must for every Elvis fan.

It is awesome! Exactly like EP left it. It still amazes me how many fans he still has, and who get emotional when they visit Graceland.

I, - personally, - have NOT been, to that most SACRED of places, YET, but, - as a long-standing Elvis Presley FANATIC, such as I am, and always WILL be, - to be able to VISIT the place, where my idol LIVED, - DIED, - and, is, in fact BURIED, (his grave is NOT where most people THINK it is), - would be the equivalent of a Muslim going to MECCA, or a Jew going to JERUSALEM! To ME, - and YOU, to, I think, (in view of the question) - the opportunity to DO so, - WOULD be nothing LESS than absolute PARADISE!
