My boyfriend attends a religous college that has rules for dating. They recently told him that he is no longer allowed to visit me at my home even if other people are there. We are an interracial couple. I know of other couples (of the same race) who are allowed to visit eachothers homes. Am I wrong to be upset by this?

You might consider it discrimination-and maybe it is in a sense.
BUT...your boyfriend doesnt have to go to this college. Nobody is forcing him to go to it. He has the choice to make, his school or you. If he chooses his school over you...think about that for a minute.
As far as the school goes. If its a private college shouldnt they be allowed to make up any rules they please? Why not? Im not saying i would agree with those rules, but im just tired of this government and country trying to tell people how they can run a business or lead their lives. If someone wants to be a racist prick let him. He will only put himself out of business and hurt his own wallet in the long run, because nobody will want anything to do with him. We dont need the government to control these things, we can do it ourselves.

Are you sure that your boyfriend isn't just trying to break up w/ you? Especially if other couples going to the same college are allowed to visit. Just out of curiousity, would this college happen to be one of the following? I would really, really like to know:
Bob Jones University in SC, Pensacola Christian College in Fl or Maranatha Bible up in I think either Minnesota or Wisconsin.

This is racial discrimination at one of its nastiest. Religion has nothing to do with Colour or Creed. We are all the same inside, the colour of our skin shouldnt matter. You both also have free will, nobody has the right to tell you how to live your lives. Many people will try to over the course of both your lives. Your boyfriend has to do what he thinks is right.
This college needs to realise that it is in the 21st Century, values have changed dramatically over the last 200years or so, its about time they stop living in the past.
I hope all goes well for the both of you in the future.

That's absolutely ridiculous! Either he needs to get to a new school right away or he is trying a new approach to not seeing you anymore. Make sure he's not trying to break up with you first.
Good luck!!
